Who We Are

Hi, I am Johan, the owner of Express Handyman. I discovered my joy of fixing things very early on. It all started with putting the pieces of a broken radio back together at the age of 10. To support my new found hobby, my family bought me a small tool kit and my life long passion was born. The tool kit quickly grew into a tool box, as I continued to accumulate new tools for different types of jobs and for fixing different items. As I grew older, I would take care of small odd tasks around the house. As I gained more experience, I assisted family and neighbours with fixes around the house, such as hanging shelves and small repairs. I learned a lot from my father and grandfather who were not professional handyman, but were experienced and knowledgable when it came to taking care of many tasks around the house. 

My life started in Switzerland, where I was educated and instilled with the core values I live by today, which include a strong work ethic, integrity and discipline. I demonstrate these values through my work and do not take on every single job as not everyone, including myself, can be good at everything. With this in mind, I only take on jobs that I know I can deliver on and ensure my client will be happy when the work is complete. 

I treat my client’s homes and businesses as they were my own. I offer solutions that are both cost and time effective. I do not over-commit, which means that I only focus on one job at a time. 

My ultimate objective is to provide high quality services and make my clients happy. In today’s world, many of us have growing to-do lists and limited time to accomplish all the things that need to be done. My services are here to save you the stress of tackling these tasks alone with dependable and quality service you can rely on time and time again.
